Almost all the affordable inverters quoted to me (Growatt, Solis, Deye) are Chinese brands. Should I spend ₹40,000 extra to buy a European brand like SMA or Fronius?

Top-tier Chinese inverter brands (like Growatt, Solis, Deye, GoodWe) are highly reliable and dominate the global market, including Europe and Australia. They offer excellent value for money and have strong local service networks in India. While European brands like SMA and Fronius are the gold standard for build quality, the massive price premium is rarely justified for a standard residential setup.
