I live in a coastal town near Goa, right next to the beach. The air is very salty and humid. Will this rust the solar structure or damage the panels?

You can definitely install solar near the sea, but you MUST insist on two things:
1. **Salt Mist Certified Panels:** Ensure the panels pass the IEC 61701 standard for salt mist corrosion resistance.
2. **Anodized Aluminum Structure:** Do not use cheaper Galvanized Iron (GI) for the mounting structure, as it will rust quickly in coastal air. Use high-grade Anodized Aluminum with Stainless Steel (SS304) fasteners.
