I'm about to sign a contract with a small local vendor. What happens to my 25-year panel warranty and 5-year inverter warranty if this vendor shuts down his business in 2 years?

Your 25-year panel warranty and inverter warranty are provided by the **Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM)** (e.g., Waaree, Tata, Growatt), NOT the installation vendor. If your local vendor goes out of business, you can contact the manufacturer's customer care directly with your original invoice and warranty card to claim replacements. However, the 'workmanship warranty' (for leaks, loose wiring) provided by the local vendor will be lost.
