Advertising Terms & Conditions

1. Payment Terms

All advertising fees must be paid in advance before campaign activation. Bookings are confirmed only after payment verification and written approval by SolarCalculators.in. Partial payments do not constitute a confirmed booking.

2. Non-Refundable Policy

Advertising fees are non-refundable once a campaign is approved and scheduled. Refunds will not be provided for any of the following reasons:

• Campaign performance, impressions, clicks, or enquiry volume
• Advertiser-initiated cancellation after approval
• Change of business plans or budget reallocation
• Delays caused by late submission of creative assets by the advertiser

In the event of a technical failure on our end causing a campaign to not run as agreed, we will offer a pro-rata extension of the campaign period as our sole remedy.

3. Advertising Disclaimer

Our platform connects your brand with a high-intent solar audience. Results vary based on plan tier, creative quality, seasonal demand, and market conditions. Historical performance data shared during the sales process is indicative only.

4. Creative Approval

All advertisements, logos, banners, videos, product descriptions, and promotional content are subject to review and approval by SolarCalculators.in before going live. We reserve the right to:

• Reject content that is misleading, inaccurate, or unsubstantiated
• Require modifications to content that does not meet our editorial standards
• Remove any content that violates these terms after publication
• Decline campaigns unrelated to solar and renewable energy

The advertiser is responsible for ensuring all claims in their content comply with applicable advertising standards under Indian law, including ASCI guidelines.

5. Campaign Activation

Campaigns generally go live within one business day following receipt of full payment and approved creative assets. Activation timelines may be extended where:

• Creative assets are submitted late or require multiple revision rounds
• Technical integration is required (e.g., lead capture form setup, custom landing pages)
• The selected placement requires a slot that is currently occupied

Delays caused by the advertiser's late submission of assets do not entitle the advertiser to a refund or campaign extension.

6. Brand Pages & Sponsored Content

Brand profile pages, sponsored articles, product listings, and promotional content placed on SolarCalculators.in are subject to editorial oversight. We reserve the right to:

• Edit content for formatting, grammar, readability, and SEO compliance
• Add editorial disclaimers where required for user transparency
• Restructure page layout to maintain site design consistency

Brand Page Ownership: Brand profile pages created under paid advertising plans will remain active during the active subscription period. Upon plan expiry or cancellation, SolarCalculators.in may retain, archive, modify, or remove the page at its sole discretion. The advertiser does not own or have any proprietary claim over the page URL, design, or placement on this platform.

7. Advertising Inventory

Advertising placements are offered subject to availability at the time of booking. Homepage hero placements, category sponsorships, calculator sponsorships, and other premium positions are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. We do not hold or reserve placements without confirmed payment.

8. Reporting & Analytics

Where applicable, advertisers on eligible plans may receive campaign performance reports covering available metrics such as page views, click-throughs, or form submissions. These metrics:

• Are based on available platform data and may not capture all user interactions
• Should be considered indicative rather than guaranteed
• Are not independently audited and are provided in good faith

9. Restricted Content

The following categories of content are strictly prohibited on SolarCalculators.in:

• Fraudulent, misleading, or unsubstantiated claims about solar products or services
• Cryptocurrency, speculative investment promotions, or financial schemes
• Gambling, betting, or wagering services
• Adult content of any nature
• Political advertising or partisan content
• Comparative advertising that disparages competitor brands by name
• Any content that violates Indian laws, regulations, or ASCI guidelines

SolarCalculators.in reserves the right to immediately remove any content that falls into the above categories without notice or refund.

10. GST & Taxes

All advertised rates are exclusive of applicable taxes. GST at the prevailing rate (currently 18%) shall be charged additionally on all advertising fees. A GST-compliant invoice will be issued upon receipt of payment. Advertisers must provide their GSTIN for B2B transactions.

11. Confidentiality

Both parties agree to keep confidential any pricing, performance data, or business information shared during the advertising arrangement. Advertisers may not publicly disclose the terms of their advertising agreement without our prior written consent.

12. Limitation of Liability

SolarCalculators.in shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or business losses arising from:

• Advertising campaign performance or outcomes
• Website interruptions, downtime, or technical issues beyond our reasonable control
• Changes in search engine rankings or indexing affecting page visibility
• User behaviour or decisions made after viewing advertiser content

Our maximum aggregate liability in connection with any advertising arrangement shall not exceed the total fees paid by the advertiser for the relevant campaign period.

13. Termination

SolarCalculators.in may immediately terminate any advertising arrangement, without refund, if:

• The advertiser breaches any of these terms
• The advertiser's business is found to be fraudulent, unlicensed, or in violation of applicable laws
• The content published causes legal, reputational, or regulatory risk to SolarCalculators.in

14. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from advertising services on SolarCalculators.in shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Mumbai, Maharashtra.

15. Amendments

SolarCalculators.in reserves the right to amend these Advertising Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will be communicated to active advertisers via email. Continued use of our advertising services after notification of changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
